Zion Baptist Church, Bedworth

Zion Baptist Church, Bedworth, meet in a chapel that was built in the late 1970’s, after the compulsory purchase of their original chapel.

In 2022, the Corporation were pleased to provide a grant towards the significant cost of replacing all the windows and front entrance doors of the chapel. The existing windows were single glazed, timber framed and in a state of disrepair; substandard to current building regulations and a safety hazard to the rooms at first floor. A subsequent loan was also provided by the Corporation during 2023 to tide over a financial gap during the works.

The church report their grateful thanks for the Trust’s help towards the renovation works which have enabled the church to continue its ministry and outreach in the area. The church can now provide a safe environment for the youth ministries to meet upstairs. The church gives thanks to the Lord for the safe completion of the works and His provision to undertake them.

The church met in the downstairs hall with the services also being live streamed to the upstairs hall due to limited space downstairs.
