Pantiles Baptist Church, Tunbridge Wells
Pantiles Baptist Church, Tunbridge Wells, had applied for a grant to replace the floor covering in the church hall. The existing carpeting was worn out and presented a trip hazard.
The church's pastor writes:
"I am writing to you, on behalf of Pantiles Baptist Church, to ask you to thank the Trustees of the Grace Baptist Trust Corporation for the very kind and generous grant they gave us of £7,500 for our hall flooring. Over the last two weeks two flooring fitters have laboured hard to lay the flooring in our hall, corridor and cupboards. The transformation has been amazing as you can see from the photographs below. We are really pleased to have such good flooring, especially as our old carpet was becoming a hazard . With the left over flooring we were able to lay new floor in one of the classrooms that used to leak, until you gave us a grant to have that sorted. Thank you again for your kindness to us."
